New Year of School!

Can you believe it!? School is up and running again! The girls are all back in school, Brevin starts next week with Pre-school. So far, all is looking good! And so far they seem to be enjoying it! YAY!

Haidyn was the first to start back... She is in the 5th grade and she has a team teaching thing this year. I am not very excited about that. Caitlyn had team teachers for 4th grade and I was NOT impressed. Hopefully this years team teachers will be better.

Dilyn is now in 1st grade! All day! With lunch! She is such a good student! She has good friends in her class and she is really liking it!

I especially love the face paint!

Caitlyn is an 8th grader! ARGH! Where has the time gone! She is excited about MOST of her teachers... That is all we can ask for!

A New Adventure!

We decided to do the unthinkable and took the kids camping! We have talked about it numerous times over the years, but it was only that... TALK. This year we finally did more than just talk, we took action. Caitlyn was the only one that had gone camping, which was at girls camp. And Haidyn kept asking us "Really? Why!?" We went up a local canyon that had a nice little campground with "toilet"s close by. But we had so much fun! Or at least I think we did... I believe it was a success! Don't mind all the pictures... ENJOY!

Don't they look excited!

Mommie can start a fire!

They loved sitting around the campfire!

We have a place to sleep!

There was a river close by that they had lots of fun playing in!

Mommie loves to read!

Going for a walk...

Photo ops!

My beautiful girls!

Everyone had fun playing in the fire!

My sweet boy!

We are WAAYY too much alike! Scary!

Antelope Island

We have been trying to do a few more family activities lately... The last year has been slightly strained so we are having some family time... It has been a lot of fun. A few Sundays ago we went on a drive to Antelope Island, we hadn't been since Caitlyn and Haidyn were little... It was so much fun!

They were quite surprised by the bug at the shoreline, it was quite funny to watch them at first...

Oh, look at my cute kids!

Walking down to the beach with my sweet guy!

Once in the water, they had lots of fun walking around and tossing rocks in...

Oh yeah baby~

Cheesey grin!

Trying to teach the boy to skip rocks on the water...

I know she was just looking at her foot, but I love this pic of her! Such form, such grace!

Brevin actually got the knack of skipping those rocks! The girls did too.

Strike a pose!

Now, be silly!

My sweet little girl... She still likes me!

He is one lucky guy!!

Mommie was coming after the boy...

Caitlyn and Haidyn actually got along and didn't fight the whole time we were there! Yay!

It was such a beautiful day! The sky was beautiful... Blue and full of white fluffy clouds!

Awwww.... Precious!

Brevin was soaked! This is evidence as too how much salt is in that Great Salt Lake!

Stadium of Fire!

This year Caitlyn and Haidyn were able to participate in the Stadium of Fire... After learning the dance with Tiffany at the studio, we went down to Provo and they spent a few days practicing with hundreds of girls. They were long days! But my girls were troopers! I was so proud! I get a little emotional when it comes to the 4th of July anyway, and this was more emotional with the girls performing!

Grammy was able to come down and attend with us! Here is Grammy with Haidyn, Dilyn and Brevin in front of the Cougar... GO BYU! :)

Cait... so beautiful!

Haidyn... Pretty girl!

Mommie and Dilyn, being silly to pass the time till it starts!

Yes, I a hottie!

Funnel cake! Yummy!!

Mommie, Daddy and the boy!

Brevin was so funny.... He keeps us laughing!

Haidyn was far away from us and I couldn't find her when they took the field, so I just started taking pics hoping I could find her once I got them on the computer... I found her!!

Caitlyn was right up fairly close to us... so we were able to watch her perform!

Yes, I cried...

Then they had the four branches of the military come out... the tears were flowing! I'm a baby, yes, I know!

Carrie Underwood sang the National Anthem and was the main performer...

Cheese!!

Silly girls!

Silly boys!

Dilyn and Grammy...

We had lots of fun! I wonder if the girls will want to dance again next year...
