We decided to do the unthinkable and took the kids camping! We have talked about it numerous times over the years, but it was only that... TALK. This year we finally did more than just talk, we took action. Caitlyn was the only one that had gone camping, which was at girls camp. And Haidyn kept asking us "Really? Why!?" We went up a local canyon that had a nice little campground with "toilet"s close by. But we had so much fun! Or at least I think we did... I believe it was a success! Don't mind all the pictures... ENJOY!

That looks like a lot of fun! We keep saying we're going to take the boys camping in the canyon and just haven't dared do it yet. I think we're ready...now to just convince the kids that it will be fun. ;-) Cute pix...love your title photo of all of your toes in the water & sand. I want one of our fam like that.

What campground is this? We are looking for one locally to visit. We just bought a little tiny tent trailer and can't wait for next summer so we can go try it out!
